On February 4th, we organized a symposium to conclude our VLAIO Tetra project. With over 85 registrations, the symposium was big success. At the symposium, we not only described the progress we made within the project but we also gave the word to other innovative researchers in the field. Prof. Dr. Inez Germeys discussed the importance of measuring and intervening in daily life. Steffie Desart presented a new, more complete and practice-oriented definition of burnout. Deborah Piette presented an experimental project that designed and tested smart algorithms for stress and depression. The presentation are available in dutch:
- Steffie Desart – Burnout 2.0, what do we learn from clinical practice?
- Deborah Piette – Smart algorithms to monitor burnout and depression through wearable technology
- Prof. dr. Inez Myin-Germeys – Contextual psychiatry: the importance of measuring and intervening in daily life
- Het Carewearteam – Wearables for mental healthcare: the Carewear project
